The Worse Christmas Gift Ever Recieved

The worse Christmas gift ever I got was. It started one year ago. It was at my cousins house. I didn't ask for anything but some people still got me some sort of gift. I got a $50 gift card GameStop. I loved the gift a lot and my cousins were happy that I liked it. After the gift opening we ate and spoke. When it was like 11:45 or something we left home. I wanted to sleep but first I wanted to check if the card wasn't fake or anything. I checked the back of the card and it said something like "Expired 12/25/14" I was so mad I asked my cousins for a new one. They said sure we'll give you a new one. I sure did got a new one but it was for $5. I couldn't do anything with $5 except tip the workers, which I wasn't going to do.

I chose this quote because when you were a kid you were forced to do what people tell you. And you hated it. You wanted to be free and do what ever you want. But once your an adult you get to choose your choices to be successful and happy. This quote related to me because, when I was younger every adult told me what to do. But once you get older you make choices to be successful and not make the choice.

Zebra Forest Tones

I enjoyed the book Zebra Forest by Adina Rishe Gewirtz because. This book contains many genres that makes this book good. It's fiction, mystery and suspense. It's fiction because in the book it talks a lot about the zebra forest. It's mystery because when Annie and Rew gets a special visit from her father that helps them captive in their own house. They're confused because he goes in their house, and doesn't hurt that them or anything. Later in the book they realize that Andrew Snow was saying things that gran use to say. Anne and Rew start to realize that Andrew Snow is their father. It's suspense because when gran gets sick Rew, Anne and Andrew are nervous when gran starts bleeding. Page 183 from Zebra Forest "Get towels," Andrew Snow said. "Quickly." Without a word. I turned and ran upstairs. Rew followed, we carried down arm loads of old bath towels. I tried to hand to Rew, so drenched he was dripping, but he barley noticed me. Andrew Snow had laid Grab on the couch in the front room. He had a dish towel in his hand, and he was gently wiping blood from her face, I stopped short when I saw that. Gran's eyes were shut tight, and a long ugly gash ran from her forehead to her cheek. Andrew snow turned and saw us, reaches for towels and quickly and wrapped Gran in them, rubbing her body to warm her. Beneath the towel he pulled away her wet things. "Get me something, a robe or nightgown," he said.

About me. I'm Nathan, I like to read books about mystery because I like suspense or plot change. Also fiction because I like the author to use imagination to make the book good. I also like science fiction because I like how there are characters that the author made up with their own special char characterisics. Books I don't like to read are. Non fiction because the books are going to be filled with facts and probably not going to be interesting. I will only read non fiction books if it's a journal from someone's perspective. I like the play backyard basketball. I usually play with my brothers. We play 1v1v1, horse and around the world. Our backyard is pretty big but where the basketball rim is fairly small and it's like a quarter of a court. I like to play video games. I usually play Black Ops 3, GTA V, 2k16 and sometimes some older games. 

Ending of The Eye of Minds

The ending was nice but what really upset me was Michael was a tangent. A tangent basically means someone who was created by a computer and lives inside the VirtNet. So all this time Michael was a computer program. It's weird, why did Michael die when he got stabbed in the Devils of Destruction? My thoughts are, he was programmed to have human emotions, can feel psychical strength and damage. I expected the ending to be maybe Michael was a spy for Kaine and he was trying to figure out if the VirtNet will try to attack him or try to find him. My question is, how did he come out of the VirtNet and come into the real world? He's a program designed by the VirtNet. It's strange because near the beginning of the story he says he spends most of his time in the VirtNet and less time in the real world. The book didn't introduce the word "tangent" yet so I just inferred that he was having fun in the VirtNet. But once I figured out what tangent meant, I knew he was some kind of robot or computer program. 

Thoughts on The Eye of Minds

My thoughts on this book is. I think if it takes this long to fine Kaine shouldn't they get weapons to fight some monsters or people along the way? Michael only has one knife and that will not help for all 3 of them. Another thing, Kaine should know that there coming for him, maybe he should send some bodyguards to deal with them so they don't cause damage to him or to any more body guards? What I think they should have done is. They should have stayed in the Devils of Destruction and try to pick off an enemy from behind and take their weapon. That can atleast give everyone a weapon.

Goals of 2015-2016 school year

TThe goals for 2015-2016 school year is. I really want to try to get all my homework done before walking in the building. I want to get use to doing homework because if I don't get use it, later when I get a job and I don't do my work I can get fired and not make money. Second goal. I want to bring my materials to school and home. I really have a bad memory when bringing stuff to another area. I got to use passes to get them, I got to sign a falcon foul because I'm not prepared. If I can achieve this goals I can probably make to high school with a good chance. Another goal is that I want try to read as much as I can during the weekends. I usually have the most free time on Fridays, Saturdays. Sunday's is the day when I do homework and read. So I can't read during Friday and Saturday. When I'm doing stuff I forget about reading and I usually remember late at night. I hope I can achieve most of these goals and be successful during the school year.
